Beautiful home on a 4420 ft. elevation, located in the Eagles Nest subdivision. 2 story cabin, with fascinating views. Enjoy the outdoor hot-tub with picnic tables near by for family gatherings. Covered porch right off the kitchen with a dining table for 6, plus an indoor dining table for four. Black kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops, 85" TV in the loft area.

1st Floor: Living Room, Kitchen, Wood Fireplace, Stainless steel appliance, Dining Room table for 4, Covered porch with dining table for 6, breakfast bar, spacious kitchen, Master King bedroom with full bathroom, garden tub, walk-in shower
2nd Floor: Loft with sitting area & 85" TV, King Bedroom with two twin beds, Full bathroom with garden tub, second bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds.

Low Season:
$234 nightly - $1,438 weekly.
3 nights minimum stay required.
January through May
September. November and December except: Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year
High Season:
$290 nightly - $1,830 weekly.
3 nights minimum stay required.
June through August. October.
Holidays:
$290 nightly - $1,830 weekly.
Minimum of one week required.

11% Tax applied to rent. Optional 6.5% Travel Insurance applied to rent.
$50 Damage Protection Plan ($3,000 of Insurance).
$75 Hot Tub Cleaning Fee.

Firewood Notice: Not all wood-burning fireplaces will provide firewood at the property. We can have firewood delivered to the property per request, we offer 1/4 cord for $100 or 1/2 cord for $180. Please order ahead before your arrival.
The Smoky Mountain Retreat at Eagle’s Nest subdivision does not permit motorcycles or trailers on the mountain.

This is our third rental on Smoky Mtn. Retreat.
I am never disappointed with any house we have rented here at Smokey Mountain Retreats. Everything we need, the mountains, it's just so beautiful. We always come back to this same Eagles Nest and it is a highlight of the year, twice a year. There is so much to do, don't miss Buttered Biscuit and Waynesville's Mass Gen. Fun places. So close to Asheville an Biltmore. Easy access road.

We have stayed in Maggie Valley many times and Pilot's Paradise is our favorite cabin by far. It is beautiful and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a fabulous week in the mountains. The cabin had room for everyone to spread out, a gorgeous view, well-equipped kitchen, and all of us enjoyed the hot tub, grill, and large porch with comfy furniture.

Beautiful home on top of a premier mountain in NC. The road up/down was challenging for a Floridian, but the average temp of 74* for the month of July was worth it. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and the furniture very comfortable. The owner and prop mgt were very responsive to our needs. I couldn't recommend more highly!

It was such a relief to walk into this beautiful home and find everything we needed and more. We enjoyed 5 days of skiing and exploring and being in awe of the beautiful views. The privacy of the neighborhood was a plus and the kids could have spent an entire day at the community park. We would love to return soon!

Loved being at over 4,000 feet at Pilot's Paradise, the air was cool and sweet and views were terrific. Love the hummingbirds on the porch feeder - they were not shy! Very roomy and comfortable home and a truly relaxing environment. We all really needed that!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pilots Perch. The property is very comfortable. The only thing it needs is a better stocked kitchen. It could use newer pots and skillets, but mostly, it needs measuring cups.

I have rented from other rental facilities before always disappointed. My husband and I will never rent from anyone other than Smokey Mountain Retreat. WE really enjoyed the location, view, and the cool temperatures of this home. The interior was well appointed with furniture and kitchen supplies. The porch area overlooking Maggie Valley was very nice and very large. The property was well cared for and was easy for us and our pup. Unfortunately there were a few hiccups at the start of our rental but all were addressed quickly and professionally.

Pilots Porch was a wonderful place to stay. The pictures on the site don’t do it justice. Well appointed rental. The sunrise was spectacular every morning. The switchbacks were fun. We videoed the trip up to show friends and family. The only thing that needed attention was the grill. It needs to be cleaned before summer guests. We visit Maggie Valley almost every year. My granddaughter enjoyed the playground.
We enjoyed the PowWow in Cherokee, Maggie Valley shopping including Cabbage Rose, Maggie Mountain Crafts. The Biltmore in Asheville was wonderful. I would definitely stay in Pilots Porch again.

The pictures of this property DO NOT do it justice. The house is beautiful, very nicely decorated, spacious, and has many wonderful places to sit and enjoy the mountain view. This house was perfect for two couples and a child. The loft pictures don't show it, but there is a giant tv with surround sound in the loft which was great for watching movies on a rainy day. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which makes for an ultra comfortable stay. If you plan on cooking, I would take inventory of their dishes/pan, etc. before you get started. I found the kitchen a little less equipped than I would need if I was cooking for the entire trip. But, it suited our needs perfectly. The drive up and down the mountain is an adventure. I would recommend four wheel drive. You get used to the switchbacks, but it can be nail-biting at times. :) It's worth it though. The management company was professional and we had no need to reach out with issues during our stay. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend Pilots Perch to anyone looking for a cozy mountain retreat. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

This was our families fourth time staying in Maggie Valley but the first time staying in this property. This was by far the best experience we had yet. The cabin was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities you would expect and more. This was a just an awesome vacation and would recommend this company to anyone going to the area.
