3 bedroom, 3 ½ bath upscale log home with three king master bedroom suites, all with mountain views. Driveway is easy to navigate, and house is located close to back gate of the Smoky Mountain Retreat, just a few minutes to golf and dining at Laurel Ridge CC. Back gate also affords a quick route to shops and restaurants of downtown Waynesville
1st Floor: Living Room with gas fireplace, 42” LCD flat wall-mounted TV with Direct Satellite, I-pod dock, Blue-Ray, DVD/CD, AM/FM. Kitchen, Master bedroom suite with King bed and sitting area. 37” flat LCD TV, CD/DVD, Bath with garden tub, walk-in shower and separate his and her sinks.
2nd Floor: (upstairs) Pool Table, work desk area with printer, 2nd Master bedroom suite with King bed and sitting area, master bath with walk-in shower. 3rd master suite with King bed, gas fireplace, TV/DVD, private deck off bedroom to enjoy views, master suite bath with Jacuzzi tub, his and her sinks and separate walk-in shower.

MINIMUM RENTAL PERIOD IS ONE MONTH AND NOT TO EXCEED 6 WEEKS.
The exception to monthly will be Thanksgiving week which we will continue at rate of $2100/week and $300/day for any extra days.
Monthly rental rate is $6700.
Thanksgiving: $2,100.00 additional nights for Thanksgiving week $300.00
$300 Refundable Security Deposit, 11% tax will be applied to rent, Optional 6.5% Trip Insurance will be applied to rent. $65 Reservation Fee (plus tax), Cleaning fee included in rates.

Tenants with motorcycles and trailers, please note:
The Eagles nest subdivision does not permit motorcycles or trailers on the mountain. However, they can be left at our rental and sales center parking lot. For any questions or concerns please contact us.

We rent in the NC mountains every summer for a couple of months. Our accommodation in 2017 at Highdaway was very special - the home was very well appointed - the furniture was in very good condition and the kitchen was well stocked! My only complaint was that some of the trees had grown up and partially blocked the view - it was not that way in the pictures and we are hoping the owner will have those trimmed by next year as we have rented again!! It is a special house! The property management people were very nice and took care of any problems with haste.

This was our second year at the Highdaway - only compliant is that our stay could not have been longer. It is a great house -- very clean, well furnished, every room-but especially the kitchen. The view has grown in a bit - so not exactly like the photos in the ad. The location is great - on top (or close) of the mountain - so nice and cool - and close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley.
